Santa Felisa is a family business with deep roots and a legacy of excellence. Established in 1904 in Guatemala’s Acatenango region, the coffee farm is run today by siblings Anabella and Antonio Meneses. Anabella, an agronomist and ecologist, manages farm operations and coffee production while Antonio heads up sales and marketing. With over thirty cultivars, excellent plant genetics, and state-of-the-art processing techniques, Anabella has elevated Santa Felisa’s reputation for rare and unique nano-lots. A yearly auction for their top coffees often fetches record prices, and they have won numerous awards, including the prestigious top prize at 2017’s Cup of Excellence. Anabella’s dedication to quality and her mastery of post-harvest processing have gained her international fame in the coffee world, blazing a trail for other modern coffee producers to follow in the 21st century.
