Adelmo Lopez
For Adelmo “Al” Lopez, coffee has never been just a crop—it’s a family legacy. A fourth-generation coffee grower raised among the farms of Corquín, Honduras, Al founded Finca Terrerito with a vision of honoring generations of tradition while bringing a modern, quality-driven approach to specialty coffee. Drawing on both his agricultural roots and his experience as a military veteran and business leader, Al has invested heavily in state-of-the-art drying equipment and quality control techniques, ensuring every lot reflects the full potential of the region.
That same commitment extends beyond the coffee itself. Finca Terrerito is built on the belief that great coffee begins with thriving communities. Alongside their own exceptional coffees, the farm works with neighboring producers by purchasing cherries directly and processing them on-site, creating greater value for local families. It’s an approach that puts people first, sustainable farming second, and extraordinary coffee as the natural result—a philosophy we’re proud to share through this limited microlot.
