With over thirty cultivars, excellent plant genetics, and state-of-the-art processing techniques, Anabella Meneses is continually elevating Santa Felisa’s reputation for rare and unique nano-lots. A yearly auction for their top coffees often fetches record prices, and they have won numerous awards including the prestigious top prize at 2017’s Cup of Excellence. This lot of Geisha 2722 (aka Panama Geisha) was hand-picked and underwent a bulk fermentation–aided by yeast and lactic acid bacteria–for three days before slowly drying on the farm’s raised African beds under strict temperature control. The resulting sweetness and complexity demonstrate a mastery of post-harvest processing that has gained Anabella and Santa Felisa international acclaim.
