As Myanmar emerges from decades of isolation, we are proud to play a part in the birth of its specialty coffee industry. Little City’s Joel Shuler has been working with Winrock International and the Coffee Quality Institute to improve post-harvest practices in Myanmar. This has led to some great relationships with pioneering growers like Sai Wan Maing, owner of Green Land Estate and winner of Myanmar’s first ever coffee competition. A prime example of Myanmar's coffee potential, Green Land is noted for their quality as well as their agricultural practices and innovation, from shade grown coffee to cultivar planting and post-harvest processing, with strict quality control standards throughout.

This offering is one of Sai Wan’s best lots, a fully washed SL-34 cultivar that is bright, clean, and crisp, with notes of cherry and citric lime balanced by honey sweetness.
